Allow user to augment an asset without PI to CONNECT overwriting the change

As a PI to CONNECT user, I have data in CONNECT that is not fed by PI to CONNECT. I want to be able to manually edit an Asset (built by PI to CONNECT) to refer to my other streams so I can see all relevant information for my asset at once without that Asset getting overwritten to only refer to data coming from my on-prem PI System.
