As an additional comment related to RedHat and CentOS support, we are planning on supporting this with our Edge Management offering. As of now, our edge modules are supported on a list of Debian, Ubuntu, and Red Hat OS versions (with a caveat around Red Hat). You can find more information about supported OS on the AVEVA Edge Management documentation here: https://edgemanagement.connect.aveva.com/help/#/home/682864/10/11. If you have any need for the direct installation of AVEVA Adapters to be on these operating systems, please share your use case with us.

Gabriel provided accurate information around our OS support. We offer support for Debian and Ubuntu distributions, which covers the mostly widely used versions of Linux OS. Could you provide more information or detail around your use case for the RedHat/CentOS?

PI Adapters are advertised as being available for Linux, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOS are Linux distributions, so I'm not sure what the issue is.

@Kenneth - We only support debian based distro at this time. Meaning that RedHat / CentOS has not been tested and is not supported yet. There are hundreds Linux distributions actively maintained, and the adapters rely on .NET components which are either not supported on some distributions or have different dependencies that we have not tested since we have not seen use cases or implementations requiring it.
