Can we please have an Adapter for the good old OPC DA, please ?

We still have OPC DA all over and it will take time for users to move over to UA Architecture unless one uses a wrapper or something to expose DA as UA (not sure if such a wrapper is available but other way is available). It would be great to have an Adapter which still supports DA (even if it is without A&E support but with Interface level failover - Hot Type). If this does not require too much of a development work, we would really like to se one available soon.

Thank you for your feedback. It seems like there hasn't been any additional comments related to Gabriel's question. That being said, we do not have any plans to create an Adapter for OPC DA. In recent months, we've heard from many customers that they are planning to move away from OPC DA due to security concerns and looking to use OPC UA. OPC UA wrappers are available through various vendors that will allow for our AVEVA Adapter for OPC UA to communicate with the OPC DA server. The Adapter for OPC UA also provides you with server-level and client-level failover so you can take advantage of that feature now. If you have any other concerns, please share more information in the comments.

I would be curious to know why the PI Interface for OPC DA is not suitable in your case.
