Support derived templates

When replicating AF data to CONNECT, I would like to make sure that all assets configured from templates which are themselves based on derived templates, preserve the template inheritance.
For instance, if I have a Mobile Equipment template, with a Truck derived template, and then various brands of Trucks are Derived templates, I want to make sure that the Assets in CONNECT data services can be searched for all Mobile equipment, all trucks, or all XYZ brand truck.
