Customer wants to deploy EDS at machine level to collect data from PLCs which are directly connected to the machine which would imply a proper security / authentication mechanism for EDS

    Thanks for your input, Todd. Regarding proper security/authentication mechanism, are you referring to the use of http vs https for data ingress from the source to Edge Data Store? The scenario you highlighted sounds like a user is looking to collect data from Edge Data Store using a remote source.
