    Calculations/filters on data egress would be nice to have, so that customers can choose which events are egressed (only out of range events, implement deadbands similar to PI exception reporting etc.) to decrease network traffic from remote sites.

    Great idea and +1 to Michael T's comment regarding filters and ways to reduce network traffic. Where we are dealing with high-frequency sensor readings, egressing an entire stream uses considerable amounts of data.

    I'll echo what Michael and Chis said - analytics to filter data and reduce network traffic. We would like to have range check calculations to toss or mark out of range data, or to average data or report min/max data.
