Share Displays/Dashboards with external customers

  • OEM for Machines wants to share data externally by providing an application which provides Data through a pre-built dashboard but also would allow interactive ad-hoc displays for the data of assets which is owned by the equipment owner.

  • As and End user I expect to select all the assets that are from my fleet and easily graph or trend the tags. Zooming, calculated signals, compare trend between assets.

  • OEM wants to have control over the full solution.

    • Service Organizations will have access to the platform and may resell them to the end customer.

    • Service Organizations should be able to view pre-defined dashboards but also should be able to create own content such as dashboards or reports or access data sets.

    • End customers should be able to see a subset of data and KPIs through dashboards, receive notifications etc.

    • A machine may always be serviced by the same organization, but it can also be moved to another service organization.

  • Think of it like a car manufacturer: A major brand delivers a service (connected car) and provides an app towards the end customer to look at data (tire pressure, fuel status, door/window status, anti-theft). This service is instantiated but as well used to some extent by the garages/resellers. There is an automatic notification if the car needs maintenance, and a service appointment can be created online via the manufacturer's website with the contracted service partner.
