Pro-active notification if data collection stops

Challenge:

In normal operation, there is no need to constantly check, if data collection is up and running and healthy. In some cases, data collection can stop for any particular reason, but there is right now no possibility to see this or receive a notification about it. One only recognizes it when a user complains about missing data.


Solution:

It would be desired to have a feature which sends a notification message (i.e. via E-Mail) if there is a status reported by the Software Management feature of AVEVA Data Hub. This would allow better awareness to the administrator and removes the necessity to constantly check on the ADH portal site if Edge Components still operate normally.
