Power BI Connector does not recognize if the name of an ADH Namespace got changed

Challenge: We have been unable to connect the Power BI connector to a namespace in AVEVA Data Hub to look at Data Views. There has been a change in the name of the namespace itself (Folder name in AVEVA Connect got changed). It was not possible to use the name or the ID of the namespace in the configuration Window. When we were using the initial original name of the namespace, the Power BI Connector was connecting to the namespace and showed the Data Views.


Workaround: Using the initial name of the namespace in the Power BI Connector.


Solution: Change the behaviour of the Power BI Connector to accept the Namespace ID and the new name.
