Higher limitation when querying stream summary data

When querying for summary data on a stream, customer is running into the restriction of 250K records but the streams have millions of records they need to include. Having the count of records would be useful to the customer to know how to chunk up the queries.

This limitation is also valid for the ADH trend capability. Working on high resolution data, the user can currently not trend a longer period of data (less than 3 days for 1s data).
We initially worked around it by changing the limit in the ADH back-end (needs to be done by AVEVA staff), but it was found that the ADH trend could still not show a longer period.
Proposal: make the events limit configurable. This would also avoid issues for other consuming applications.
Another idea can be: implement a more smart summary call, to get just enough data to show a trend, whilst fetching more data only if the user/application zooms in (like PlotValues in the PI System).
