Filter data fields in data view per data type (e.g. string only, float only, analog only, digital only)

When data views are consumed by tools and applications downstream, data is typically treated differently depending on several criteria.
One of the most common criteria is the data type: For example, max / min / average / standard deviation are useful transforms when working with analog data.
However, they might not be very useful when working with digital or step data types, where data treatment focuses on detecting value change time, change rate and records per interval.

Assets tend to include digital and analog properties regardless of their data type.
For asset-based data views, it would be very helpful to be able to filter fields to add to the data view based on data type.
