Error message should be generated for the Modbus request time out

After request time out, Modbus adapter should generate an error as time out after specified duration set by user.

Accept HEX numbers for Register offsets in data selection

Most modbus equipment providers provide information using registers in Hex format i.e. 0x0000 ~ 0xFFFF. It would be nice if the offset could accept this to avoid error in conversions HEX to DEC. Would make things alot more seamless/easier.

Send data to properties of an Asset

I would like to be able to not only read data from an Asset, but be able to send data to an asset, allowing me to be able to send to mulitple properties (streams) in the same call.

As a company that's sharing data with partners or customers, I'd like to be able to make the contractual documents around that data available to users so that the users of the data can better understand the contractual boundaries of using the data.
